Evangelist Marketing Think Tanks
Evangelist Marketing Think Tanks are available in two versions:
- For associations and gatherings of executives from multiple companies.
- For executives from a single company that wants to take its marketing to the next level.
For Associations & Non-Profits
Results:
- Generate new ideas and thinking.
- Clarity, focus, and energy are constant byproducts of these sessions.
- Come away with intellectual property developed by Alex Goldfayn exclusively for the session.
- Members get concepts and ideas to apply immediately upon returning to their office.
- Huge increase in repute for the organization with membership.
Details & Structure:
- 2 hour roundtable discussion sessions, led by Alex Goldfayn, and attended by high-level marketing executive members of your association / organization.
- This is not a speech, but rather a peer-to-peer thinking group. I talk for only 20 percent of the time. The rest is discussion.
- Can be attached to an existing event, or we can make them regional — i.e. an event in Chicago, New York, San Fran, etc.
- 12-20 attendees per session, to maximize the participation and interaction.
- If a stand-alone event: best done over breakfast, 7:30 – 9:00 or 9:30 AM. This usually ensures the biggest attendance.
- Alex interviews the executives a head of the session to identify the issues THEY face personally, as well as the issues they perceive their industry to be dealing with.
- These are not recorded to ensure confidentiality. There is no audience for the same reason.
- These are extremely well received. Most people want to do them regularly after attending a single session. I think this is because executives rarely have an opportunity to think and strategize with peers from across the industry.
- This would put you into great stead with marketing executives, as these are a huge value. This would increase your repute and perception among your members.
For Companies
Results
- Your top team gathers to think about the business, from outside the business.
- Increased sales.
- More effective marketing.
- New thinking, clarity, focus, energy.
- Often, a powerful plan of attack takes shape, which is executable upon returning to work.
- Significantly improved earned media and public relations results.
- Correcting mistakes.
Details & Structure
- The core event is a roundtable discussion attended by 10-15 of your top team members (you decide who attends), and led by Alex Goldfayn. It can be three hours in length or a full day (six hours).
- This is a high-level thinking group, not a speech. Alex talks for only about 25 percent of the time, bringing his intellectual property and experiences to the table. The rest is discussion.
- The following topics are fair game: big-picture strategy, product development, marketing execution, consumer insights, language, messaging, public relations, earned media. You guide the topics in the preparation work.
- Optionally, we can bring in several of your consumers for a portion of the session. Alex can conduct a qualitative interview with them in front of the group, and the attendees themselves can ask questions.
- To prepare, Alex will interview each of the attendees to understand what’s important to them personally, what they’re goals are, what they’re working on, and what their thinking is on the areas you want to focus on. Based on this, he structures the focus areas, with the flexibility to go where the discussion takes us.
- There is usually no audience to encourage confidentiality, but you can record the session (video or audio) for later reference if you wish.
- These are extremely well received. Most people want to do them regularly after attending a single session. I have a number of clients who do these quarterly.
- Following the event, you will receive a white paper based on our discussion, including all of the intellectual property and visuals brought in, as well as the findings, outcomes and thoughts of the group. This paper is strictly confidential and for your use only.
- We conduct a 60-minute follow-up conference call about a month after the session to ensure execution and implementation is occurring.
- Optionally, we can arrange for Alex Goldfayn to be available to the entire group, by phone, email and in person when mutually convenient, as needed, for a period of six months following the session.
